The Origins - Starting of the Season 7

The Origins were once ordinary residents of the city.

After the meteorite struck, those closest to the impact began to change. The transformations did not affect everyone in the same way. Some developed wings, scales, altered strength, unusual senses, or the ability to survive in environments that should have harmed them. Others became deeply connected to forests, fungi, frost, stone, fire, water, or the stars.

The Threshold Division classified these transformed residents as Origins.

The first known Origins included:

Fairies

• Mosswing

• Sporewing

• Frostwing

Dwarves

• Elderstone Dwarf

• Wildroot Dwarf

• Sunforge Dwarf

Dragonborne

• Sunscale

• Starscale

Nymphs

• Glowcave Nymph, later capable of morphing into Glowgill

• Seabloom Nymph, later capable of morphing into Waveborn

Humans

• Wildlands Explorer

• Survivor

Each Origin carried unique abilities, but every transformation also came with weaknesses, limits, or physical consequences. No two survivors experienced the meteorite in exactly the same way.

At first, the Origins were feared, contained, and studied. Over time, they became essential to survival.

They entered places ordinary residents could not reach, protected the remaining communities, and stood against the corrupted creatures spreading through the overgrown city.

The meteorite did not simply change them. It revealed what had been hidden within them.
